If you were a tree, what would you be like?
Images of houses, trees, rivers, and mountains are elements of children’s drawings with a large symbolic tradition. Children associate aspects of their personality and character with these objects, so much so that they are used by psychologists as tools to understand children through their drawings.
In this first proposal we start to explore this idea of identity by using these questions: If you were a tree what would you be like? If you were a tree what would your fruit be like?
This project helps us to take the first step in reflecting the conscious vs. unconscious. It studies the artist as the first receptor of their emotions.
In the long run, we are uniting the concepts of identity and emotion through this project.
